Hi everyone, its Alan from CCACHE.CC here. We're a new online store from Australia.
Yes, we're also a (soon-to-be) paying advertiser on weight weenies forum. Exciting times 8)

Kicking off our first post with my personal bike build-log.
Frame is a 2009 Baum Corretto which I was lucky enough to score secondhand. The original owner was a pretty close match height/weight wise, and the endurance-y geometry was a welcome change from my previous race-geo bikes. Current build as it stands is a hair under 6.8kg.

Looks great - I imagine it must be a very ‘soft’ ride with that wheel set, mine was soft feeling with Ventoux’s on!

Any reason for the RX on the road ?

I've weighted the cons and pros for roads ( even quite shitty roads ) but not that much of cobbles in this southern part of Belgium ...
And R8050 shape is quite stiff already I've found

That is a really nice forever bike! I bet you would have an itch to change or buy new bike. The tubings are just so proportionate.

Btw quick question tho (and perhaps a bit of help) if you can indulge my curiosity — can you help to measure the outside diameter of your headtube please? It takes 1 1/8 fork steerer but the headtube-headset-fork transition has just this very nice silhouette to it if you know what i mean. I think its a 37mm diameter but cant really tell. Please? Much appreciated!

This might seem like an odd request but could you post a pic of the bottom side of the BB? I really want to see the cable guide system.
Thanks
