I would just like to refer to my post on the "save some weight" forum, about the barends i've made by wood, and only weighs 35 gram for a pair!

No Tippster, they are coated with 3-5 layer of lacquer, so i don't think the worm would try eat them :lol:

Surely a weight weenie would never put 3-5 layers of that heavy lacquer on!!

Take a couple off and save even more weight!! :D

But they still weigh a lot less than all other barends out there :lol:

Why don't you make some barends out of spaghetti? It is light, stiff, and has about the same breaking predictability as cheap carbon!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
