The myth of Campy Record front derailleur on a MTB???
Moderator: Moderator Team
Triple road front derailleurs aren't any lighter than mtb front derailleurs. At least not much. So you kind of lose the advantage of a road derailleur.
I disagree. Most MTB front's are like 150 + grams. Only the low clamped are lighter but don't work in real mud.
My XTR is around 140 grams after tuning. Most road front's are high clamped and below 100 gram's (braze on). A carbon clamp weights like 4 - 8 gr..
This is a triple chorus, so it seams, can anyone confirm(type, year, number?)?
