Current and former Dugast owners:
How do the tires measure compare to their stated width?
Is a 52mm tubular 52mm wide?
The reason I ask is their FAQ section says this:
"47 mm = 2.1 – this can also vary according to the manufacturer"
A 47mm tire isn't anywhere near a 2.1" tire.

Anyone knows how the Vitoria tubulars look like.
One review for the Peyote 29 shows one with a tan sidewall.
Additonally any online purchasing source in Europe. Can not find their tubular tires in the web.

The 780g listed and 800g actual weight make them a pretty tough pill to swallow, personally.
That's a HEAVY XC tire.
Weight is not the big problem. I had good experience with the Saguaro 26 but have problems to get the tires in Europe. Anyone knows an online source?
Did a few rides on my new tubulars this week. Yeah, they're 26ers. Geax Saguaro and Gato. Both 2" actual.
Overall I am not favorably impressed. There just isn't enough volume. [My tubeless set are Geax too, r 2.25" Goma / f 2.3" Gato]
Tread compound and pattern are fine. The Gato is an excellent design.
I am pretty sure they roll slower on pavement. They go a lot slower over gnarly terrain because of the lower volume. On tight hardpack they are more responsive but there's less grip in turns because the tread is less aggressive than the 2.3" versions. On loose stuff they're pretty bad.

My front tubular Gato is 2.0" wide and has 43mm of height above the rim.
The front tubeless Gato is 2.25" wide and has 53mm of height above the rim.
So if you want comparable performance out of a tubular, it needs to be larger in width than the clincher you're comparing it to. These tubulars would need to be about 2.4" actual diameter.

I had the 26" geax saguro tubs and they were hands down the best 26 inch tyre i had, in terms of durability and ojncture resistance.
The geax tyre though is not a fast one though. I have the 29er version now and there are quicker tubless tyre and tubs. My conti race kings race sport tyres are quicker and so are my dugast tubs.
