I don't believe Nino has lost a race since he switched to the tubeless Maxxis 29er tires earlier this season.

Does anyone make a tubular bigger than 52mm?

My Tufo XC4s are relatively skinny for their stated size. As is the Challenge MTB one I have laying around.

Looking for a true 2.25"/55mm tire. Does such a beast exist?

Challenge MTB Two 29x2.2
I have no idea if it really runs true to size. Did the MTB One measure at 2.0 or did it run skinny?

It was just under 2", IIRC. I'll pump it up to operating pressure and take a picture with some calipers tonight.

I'd love to have some custom tubs built by FMB but can't figure out how to go about doing it.

Has one ride on it. I'd sell it for next to nothing. Not my cup of tea.

Not yet but these will be my next tubs but I have quite a few to wear out or puncture first. I might get a pair a christmas present to myself.
I have the fast birds sitting in a box, I like them but I have flatted them to easily something I hope the ORI version will solve.

The challange one was the worst tyres I ever had. One was 8mm out of round and the grip was appalling.

I'm keen to try these too.
I contacted Dugast about ordering and they said there would be a delay in production of the tubeless ORI versions, but they didn't explain why... I'm guessing puncturing issues??

The challange one is rubbish. Not surprised you are getting rid. Try vittoria saguro's it does take time to get them.

So I asked Dugast if they will be making a wider (>52mm) tubular on their Instagram account. They'll be making a 54mm casing this year.
