Hey guys.

I am having a really tough time at the moment finding any components for mountain bikes, 26" stuff was almost obsolete and now I am struggling to find anything for the 27.5er :(

I got up to £500 for a wheelset, but can I hell as find a set in the UK.

My only requirements are they need to be fairly light weight and strong, sub 1600g a pair.

What I want is white Stand Alpine rims (or similar) with sapim race spokes, blue spoke nipples and blue hope pro 4 hub but I am unable to find anything remotely like that.

Helllp

White is heavier than black (painted not Ano') so not the best place to start for a WW project.

Light Bicycle carbon rims on a decent lightweight hub would do the business, have a look at their build options, speak to them as well as they will do custom.

Many builders around but I do my own. (Alpine rims and 1426g (26" admittedly) for £180. Hope aren't really a WW choice there being lighter available.
Impoverished weight weenie wanna-be!
