Yes they will make other sizes, depend on price and who you are. but in 4 months size 28.6 will be standard.

Zakeen,
Do I understand you correctly, that Schmolke will be making 28.6 mm diameter seatposts in the next four months?
Thanks.

I am nobody, but am intersted in a 30,9, 350 mm seatpost. I probably have to rob a bank to get them working on that size...

I was in a little shock that they asked that question. 'Who are you? what races do you do?'

And nobody is nobody!

Zakeen, don't worry :D , I thought that you meant that only for WC or pro/semi-riders they would consider making custom sizes, like my requested 30,9...! I am not that!

„Thanks. I recieved a e-mail of AX-Lightness last night. They have a new type of streight seatposts. The 310mm version weights 105g but has a span of 50mm, so more than twice the time of your Schmolke TLO. And they were talking about the heavy version, they will have a TLO (SLS) version later with span 5cm , too! The SLS version will weight even less than 100g. When you take the 20mm span not even 90g."
