Is that an integrated titanium dropper post? If only I had the legs to warrant a new XC bike...

It has 5 bolts on downtube. Quite sure it will fit two bottles like the cube does, one on the upper part and one on the lower.

Almost like the "new" epic in some kind of way! The integrated dropper is cool, but when the previous model had dropper problems it was special tools and such... Maybe not user friendly.
Hopefully theyve fixed their carbon frame problems "BMC stands for Badly Mould Carbon". Ive had two BMCs with frame failures. 2018 both though.

When will this be available?

It definitely wouldn't ride like an Epic. More spy shots on the non drive side show there still exist lower linkage.
Specialized Epic has linkage-driven single pivot rear suspension design, and of course, has brain shock. Since it's a derivation of a single pivot, the entire rear end rotate around the pivot point just above the chainring.
BMC use virtual pivot design. There is a tiny linkage at the bottom link. The rear end doesn't exactly rotate around a clearly visible physical pivot point. But rather, the pivot point (virtually) move as you go through the travel.

Linkage design analysis of Specialized Epic Evo (similar to Epic)

Linkage design analysis of previous BMC four stroke, which share similar linkage layout with the latest one (except that the shock linkage rotate the shock down, rater than up to the top tube like the new model). For the cost of more weight and complexity of virtual pivot design, BMC managed to achieve higher anti-squat, lower pedal kickback and lower brake squat than the simpler (and lighter) designed Epic.

Actually I'm waiting for it's realease not only because I'm planning to buy a new fully and exited about the new Fourstroke but also may come with the new AXS shifter kit, as assuming by the Bikerumor guys (we'll see, maybe they are wrong however). ;) https://bikerumor.com/sram-xx1-eagle-ax ... ming-soon/

I do like the idea of the dropper, would be interesting to see how you wrench it though

Will be a decent bike for sure, please keep us posted! ;)
Regarding the wheelset, will be built by you?
Duke rims are super cool, my favourite rims. Light and durable.

freepk, Pasha, what goes wrong with your amazing Epic?!
PF92 Sram bottom bracket is a piece of shit. Try Hope 4130 + DUB adapter.

@Vik61, Epic is fine and ready for race, but this is not a fun bike for trails and multi-stage races )
