overall its light as *f##k* and cheap as *f##k* in comparison to other bikes that are of similar caliber and all the parts are reliable this build will also look slick as *f##k* if you get it all built and painted in black and strip the fork (-40ish grams!) to a chrome silver and make sure everything else is blacked out

I looked at doing a HT build like this... started w the same frame. It's a great idea if you live in the right place, for some this is closer to a gravel bike. you might be a few parts missing here like tubeless setup and rotor bolts maybe 200g there.

You forgot: cables, sealant, pedals etc
This is all just hypothetical and not real.

Heh - miss me with those grips (ESI's are just fine) and the saddle (unless you plan on using this HT as a gravel bike). Also, while super light, you have a potentially questionable frame on a 5500 bike just to save 2 lbs - buy an epic HT frame used.
The saddle is super comfy with a decent chamois and shape>paddingComeKnowMeAsGC wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 8:18 pmHeh - miss me with those grips (ESI's are just fine) and the saddle (unless you plan on using this HT as a gravel bike). Yeah I use esi racers edge but then grips light as *f##k* and look sick
The frame is sick as *f##k* and built well (I use it on the daily)

I don't do the pedals cause personal preference
Sealent is pretty shmol but ight
Hambini makes super solid bbs that remedy poorly built bbs and spin le good
Pedals are down to preference too much
I have SHLAMMED this bike down trails (big kommer right here) and it's ight
Rotor volts is like a couple g's
