I run Darimo post on my road and gravel bike with no issues. Looking at getting one for my MTB. Any experiences riding xc with one? No big jumps, mostly marathon racing.
Maybe get the reinforced version for a little more durability?

Been using a T1 on my XC FS bike for four years, the post held up well. All the issues I experienced were common to the T1 (had one on a road bike too), like need for a drop of thread lock or the front barrel rubbing the tube when the saddle's slammed all the way back. No complaints otherwise. Note that I'm quite thin, experience for heavier people might vary.

most likely fine id assume they use a very high modulus carbon fiber to acheive a good strength to weight carbon so it may be a bit stiff but still strong
id cop if you have the money
