Hey,

I ordered this handlebar from Bike24

720mm flat with a 9 degree sweep at crazy 125 gram and 90 euro
https://www.bike24.com/p2277508.html

Anyone who tried it... or are the people who tried it already dead?

I could only find two Spanish-speaking forums discussing and saying it is the same the Merida uses on their high-end team models.

I will post some pictures as it looks incredibly sketchy but I want your opinion first :D

The ends are paper-thin and not equally round on the inside, supposed to be like this?

Inside, what is it Hambini says when frames are a total mess inside with folds or visible overlaps. This is exactly like this, not at all smooth nor pretty on the inside.

I am 84kg without clothes and shoes. Putting this on my Scalpel, am I gonna die? Stupid yes.

What's sketchy about the bar :noidea: Darimo is 30g lighter for the same size (mine's 94g). To me, this looks like you are looking for excuses not to use the bar - and that's OK, but none of the points you make actually mean the products is dangerous or subpar. More like a reasonably priced, not very heavy bar.

Hi,

I've been using this bar on my XC bike for over a year now. No issues whatsoever. Also have theit stem mounted. I'm 75kg. I do some technical trails but drops of +80cm I don't do. I feel very confident in this bar.

I have 3 set of those 720mm PRC bars, rode 25k+ km with them during the last 5+ years, including some serious hardtail + rigid fork racing, including technical stuff on enduro trails, etc. All of them still fine, no any damage apart from a few little scratch. Best value stuff for the money. ;)

Here is 3-year old pic from my hillclimb/KOM setup (sorry for the old pic, cannot find any from the new ones). PRC handlebar + stem + seatpost + seatpost collar. ;)

Stunning bike and that weight is crazy @zscs Value for the money almost a bit too good to be true haha

Everyone is running the 125g bar and not the much heavier trail version, am I right?

thanks! :) (fyi: best setup was this, 7.4 kg :) https://i.postimg.cc/Y2QqK9Bc/3-7167xcbike.jpg )

yes, I'm also running the ~125g handlebar. Super reliable, especially considering its weight. ;)
