I agree with a lot of your thoughts.
suspension: My stumpy is the exact opposite of your desires and dissappoints on both ends...it's just light.

dropper: the Vecnum is 470ish at 180

brakes: I'll stand by magura on this one but use their rotors and use the HC. I have mt4s on my xc bike but 160mm HC rotors and the power is exceptional and never fades even on long descents (15minutes). if you want even more power and have banjo fittings on the capiler ends you can buy 4 piston calipers from germany very cheap.
