Do all time pedals run the same axle? I have some xc 8 pedals and I want to know if aftermarket ti xpro/xpresso axles will work.

No, the XC axle is held in place by a nut against the bearing at its end.
The xpro axle is held in place by a plastic shell that wrap the bearings crank side.

Another difference for the XC.
The titanium axle is bigger at its base than the steel one.
And need a thinner bushing.
