Hi, I have a new Rock Shox Sid with Race Day damping cartridge.
Is that Rebound adjuster, which looks like a small hex key, supposed to stay on the fork? It is quite wobbly in its position so I am afraid I can loose it while riding. If I put it away I don´t know if some mud is not going to get inside..
This is what I mean..https://r2-bike.com/ROCKSHOX-Rebound-Ad ... r-Race-Day

Thanks:)

The mud won't get inside the damping cartride. The hex key slot into the rebound adjuster that is further up than normal forks. The mud would only stick to the inside of the hollow bottom part of the legs.

Thanks, so I guess in this case it is better to ride with the hex key at home (in the pocket for first few rides)...

Yeah unless you have big swing of rider weight or you borrow your bike to someone else you won't need to adjust the rebound often.
