Haven't epic brain issues been a thing for specialized since they've had a brain?
I mean, I've never owned one, but pretty much everyone I know who has had a brain equipped bike fairly quickly ends up with either warranty replacements, a new, standard shock or an unuseable frame for whatever reason.

After all the issues with my (non-recent model) Epic I was tempted by the ‘new and improved brain’ of the follow-up model for a short while. Did not give in and bought a DW-link bike. Looking back now the brain equipped Epics do seem to induce a ‘casino like’ mental state in their owners. Lost today but could win tomorrow… but remember that the house usually wins
When the brain works its like having a cheat code and no other bike I've tried has felt so good. I've gone through 5 brains in my '19 epic and I still want one which should just tell you how good I think it is.rapsac wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 10:52 amAfter all the issues with my (non-recent model) Epic I was tempted by the ‘new and improved brain’ of the follow-up model for a short while.
