Afternoon,

Thinking of upgrading some 2018 Sram Level Ultimates with the new Sram G2 Ultimates. Going form 2 piston to four pistons. Seems to only be a slight weight increase between the two but will be traded of against better stopping power. Level Ultimates 220g v G2 Ultimates 250g

Has anyone had the two and can comment?

Cheers

I've used guides and I've used levels. For 30 grams I much prefer the guides. The extra power is greatly worth it.

I used level tlm and magura mt7s. Tlm is a bit heavier but same brake.
Despite my 65kg weight levels were no where enough on alpine descents. Not even close. No problems for xc etc as they are intended.
Mt7s are breaks for grown ups :)
