what is the Giant TCR of XC MTN Bike?

I'm a total newb at Mountain biking and I'm not really sure which model or Brand to look for.

What would you guys consider the most bang for your buck XC mountain bike. Hence why I'm using Giant TCR 105 as a road bike equivalent.
Would like have some sort of rear suspension as well.

Budget of around 3.5-4k USD.
