Whats everyones thoughts on the two mounting options for rotors on an MTB?
The hubs which I want to use on a new build .. DT Swiss 240 EXP 54T with J bend spokes only come with a 6 bolt mounting option from the supplier we are using and not in CentreLock.
6 Bolts for a boost rear wheel fine??
Been advised on not using straight pull spokes on a light weight wheelset as there is more chance of the spokes loostening and apparently j bend are easier to work on at a later date.
TIA
6 Bolt v CentreLock

If you find yourself undertaking anything epic 6 bolt is also easier to tighten/replace trailside. If the centerlock works loose you need a special tool to tighten (or a screwdriver and a hammer if push comes to shove)
