SRAM X9 142mm to 148mm Boost

Hi everyone.

#1 sorry for my bad english. I am try to get fix with google translater xD

#2 new here and a really new on fixing my mtb.

recently I get a frame boost, but my old bike was thru axle 142mm, so my read hub its a SRAM X9 12x142mm

but know I am try to use this same hub to the new boost frame, 148mm

Any idea how can I get to replace into the hub to no used sides adapters.

There are dozens of kits that will work. Just search for “6 bolt boost adapter rear” in your native language.

In fact, that it's what I am using right now, but I like to modified the hub to no use the sides adapter.

Anyone know if can be use new caps or new shaft for the X9 sram hub?

Nope, you really have to relace the rim with a new 148 hub.

Yeah, use the adapters or buy a new hub/wheel. Those hubs aren't convertible like Hope/DT Swiss etc

Even Hope or DT hubs aren't convertible to boost spacing. Flange distance is the difference between boost/non-boost. Only way to change that is to change the complete hub.

Well if you want boost flange spacing then yeah you need a new hub. But the OP is looking to convert an existing non boost hub to fit a boost frame. Axle length is the issue, 142 Vs 148mm

Both Hope and DT have interchangeable end caps that will solve that problem X9 hubs do not
