#2 new here and a really new on fixing my mtb.
recently I get a frame boost, but my old bike was thru axle 142mm, so my read hub its a SRAM X9 12x142mm
but know I am try to use this same hub to the new boost frame, 148mm
my refernce its there: https://dirtfreak.work/cycle/sram/wp-co ... ations.pdf Page 14.
Any idea how can I get to replace into the hub to no used sides adapters.
Regards

Nope, you really have to relace the rim with a new 148 hub.

Yeah, use the adapters or buy a new hub/wheel. Those hubs aren't convertible like Hope/DT Swiss etc

Even Hope or DT hubs aren't convertible to boost spacing. Flange distance is the difference between boost/non-boost. Only way to change that is to change the complete hub.bikewithnoname wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 2:02 pmYeah, use the adapters or buy a new hub/wheel. Well if you want boost flange spacing then yeah you need a new hub. But the OP is looking to convert an existing non boost hub to fit a boost frame. Axle length is the issue, 142 Vs 148mm
Both Hope and DT have interchangeable end caps that will solve that problem X9 hubs do not
