You can fit non boost wheels by fitting an adapter kit. Part of that kit is a spacer to move the brake disc further out.

So if you want to swap the wheel between boost and non boost forks you will need to remove or fit adapter and brake disc every time.

Depending how often you would want to do that may be too much hassle to contemplate.

You can't adapt CL rear wheels to Boost/148mm spacing**.

Can CAN adapt CL front wheels with various adapter kits from MRP, WolfTooth, etc**. However, the MRP requires you to use a 180mm rotor, and the WolfTooth kit requires you to redish the wheel. Obviously you can't redish a one-piece wheel, so that means that the MRP kit would be the one that would work.

So, if you want to use them on your MTB AND gravel bike, both of your frames have to have 142x12 spacing.

**There ARE kits like the Now8 stuff that purport to convert a 142mm CL hub to a 148mm CL hub; I've seen them get bad reviews. The reviews say that they don't have deep enough threads in the lock ring. Not sure that I'd want to risk my life with a disc rotor that could come off the hub.

Is your gravel bike 15x100 or 12x100? Some 12x100 forks are designed around 19mm diameter end caps and won’t accept a 15x100 hub which will typically have 21mm diameter end caps. Lots of people have bought those 15 to 12mm sleeves for their hubs only to discover this incompatibility.

If your gravel bike is 15x100, ignore me (but do know I have a 12x100 solution for your fork should you ever need one :D )
