Any comparism between epic and mondraker podium?
I am considering to built some sub 8kg hardtail.
The Mondraker is longer, so it's going to be a little more confidence inspiring and future-proof.

I can see a future where the HT angle is the main difference between enduro and XC bike geometry and reach measurements are so close that they don't matter.

The Podium doesn’t have the recessed stem anymore
Yes you're right, looks like they dropped it for 2021, I wonder why? Now it looks just like any other bike.

Probably just to save weight and cheaper manufacturing, it still looks like a mondraker but the recessed stem was definitely unique and different

Nope, it is definitely not unique, I first saw it on a Look bike, not sure who had it first mind.
This Look 2012 model, appears to be 26in wheels and seems to have an integrated seat post.
Mondraker is a relatively new brand, founded in 2001

It's been a while I haven't ridden a MTB and I'm also a sucker for big discounts. My LBS sold me this 2020 Specialized S-Works Epic Hardtail Frameset for $2,000.
The only difference from 2021 is this doesn't come with a seatpost,

Nice colour too, makes a change from black.

Great bike. I'm looking for an XL epic hardtail frameset if anyone knows of one for sale? They seem to be really hard to find!

For XL frame you need to be at least 6 ft 2in, I'll keep an eye out but I don't recall seeing one.
