This is anecdotal of course and doesn't mean that all of the seatposts are safe, but I have been using the eliteone on my XC bike all season and haven't had an issue. I weigh almost 90kg and haven't been particularly gentle.

I have the one with setback in 30.9 x 400: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/22558000 ... 4itemAdapt

It is light and it hasn't broken, but it is pretty flexy just an fyi

Wanted to chip in. I use the elita one post on my hardtail and rigid bike. Both have been flawless since installation (+3 years). I have this version https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3294008 ... 1835419919

Upgraded the bolts for Ti for saving a bit of weight. As stated: cheap, light and durable (I'm around 75kg). They are a bit flexy but for me this isn't a downside. Gives more comfort.

Seems a bit more robust on the upper part. At least by the look Image

Two friends bought an ultra light Aliexpress seatpost for their Pinarellos. It worked for several hundred miles...but needless to say, the saddle started to slip fore to aft a few times even after tightening and using carbon paste, etc. It turned out that the hole where the bolt passes through was wearing out or erroding due to constant forces. There happens to be no metal washer and eventually, the bolt wore through. If anyone gets one, make sure you inspect the bolt and whether or not a metal washer is embedded in the recessed hole or not...otherwise, the bolt will wear out the carbon due to the bolt head diameter which is thinner than a washer.

No, they are delivered with steel bolts but I have amassed quitte an assortiment of Ti and Alu bolts in various shapes, sizes and colours. I kind off switch all bolts immediately when something arrives :D

I was looking at some online reviews. I saw some photos showing the internal diameter, in some photos seems normal but in others seems a bit too thin.

Dunno if I am going to get it anyways or get a light alloy one.

The elita one seatpost I have is really nice. Decent amount of deflection which is nice on the hardtail.
Would highly recommend
