Just making sure I'm not missing anything.
As far as I know, the latest Scott Spark RC 900 is currently the lightest accessible frame to consumers out there, is there a 27.5 version of the Spark with same or less weight available? maybe a women's version? I can't find a clear answer to that.
I'm just getting ready to replace my beloved 2011 Spark 26" frame in case it gives out on me....running 27.5 wheel with it.

Orbea Oiz comes as 27.5 in size small.
1600g without shock but that's claimed weight.
Chris.

I’m 5’10, but I’m ok on 27.5. I also like all the components on the bike, specially the wheels so the plan would be to do a straight frame swap if I need eventually.TheRich wrote:You're not doing yourself any favors by going to 27.5 unless you're not tall enough to fit on a 29er.

I have a 2012 Scott Spark 26” and happy to know that it works with 27.5”!andreszucs wrote:Just making sure I'm not missing anything.

You kept the stock fork etc... or did you change it?
Which wheels do you have ?
Which tires can you use with the 27.5” wheels? 2.1, 2.25?

Everything stock is gone from the bike. Everything is also maxed out with this 26” frame on size Large. Tires are Maxxis Ikon 27.5x2.2 front and back, the back tire ‘kiss’ the seat tube at full stroke but is not bad enough to worry about. Fork is a DT Swiss EXC 150, that’s right...150mm...amazing fork and I wouldn’t change for anything else, even if I end up changing the frame I would use an adapter from 1 1/8 to taper so I can keep using this fork (1580g). Wheels (1274.6g/set) are kappius rims laced on extralite hubs front and back, cassette is a e-thirteen 9-46, wish is 511% range (More than XX1). Frame weight is currently 1387.6g + 155.5g(DT Swiss XR shock). To adjust the geometry change since the bike gets taller because of the bigger wheel, I made a bushing with 3mm offset in the shock eyelet, so the bike is virtualy the same height as before with a 26" wheel.TonyM wrote:I have a 2012 Scott Spark 26” and happy to know that it works with 27.5”!andreszucs wrote:Just making sure I'm not missing anything.

Complete bike is 20lbs without water bottles. Its versatile, capable, light and reliable.
That’s why my question if I can find an updated 27.5 frame with thru axle with equivalent weight. It would be a bummer to see the bike gaining weight 8 years later.
