Hey all,

What would you recommend for a mountain bike? Would like speed and cadence but don't require maps, GPS etc. wireless too. The big thing for me is that the speed sensors if placed on a wheel stay in one place if I'm offroad! I have read a few things that make me nervous around magnets on wheels and them needing to be millimetres away from the sensors. 8)

Cheers, Tim

Garmin speed and cadence sensors are accelerometer based, no magnet required. Then you just need an ant+ based bike computer. Almost all of them are GPS based, but if it has to be non-gps, o-synce macro series is one of the few computers on the market that don't have GPS
