Looking for new pair of wheels, ffwd looks like a bargain now: https://www.ffwdshop.com/FFWD-OUTLET?product_id=345 549euro
DT Swiss M1700 30 are wider and heavier 285eur shipped: https://www.dtswiss.com/en/products/whe ... spline-30/
Worth to pay more for carbon FFWDs or get proven DTs?
Not so many reviews of Outlaws there.
Thanks

Hi There,
the FFWD seems like a steal! Questions:
Is the 33 mm rim width of the FFWD inernal or external?
What tire width do you intend to use?
What's your intended use for the wheels?

Hi,
I am pretty sure 33mm is external and internal width is just 26mm. There is 7mm difference between int-ext dimesnions, but it´s probably because carbon needs thicker walls than aluminium.
I´m using mostly 2.3-2.4 Maxxis tires.
Intended use all mountain to enduro.

Considering you run wide tires, and intend to push them hard, the FFWD might be a little on the narrow side.

You´re probably right. Anyway I just ordered a pair of 30mm DT M1700(285eur shipped is bargain too) and will consider that FFWDs further, maybe they will lower the price in outlet yet.
