I did a set with 30mm wide carbon rims, carbon Ti hubs CX rays that weighted 1280g. They got nicked though.

Did you have any issues sealing the tires? What sealant was used?

Is this a bragging thread? If so, my wide XC wheels are 1146g. Would be less than 1kg with 280g rims, but I wanted to try 30mm ID.

Had no problems with tire mounting, rims are hookless. Trying mucoff sealant, but don’t know how it works)
Bragging is definitely the main reason which components did you use for your wheels?

I'm lazy and just ordered Bontrager Kovee XXX boost wheels. 1390g, 29mm width, 54t dt240, dt aerolite spokes. High-end enough for me.

Why the choice of Trailmech hub? Do you like it?

dt 240's where not available that time and I decide to try these hubs.. similar weight, lower price etc.. I really like sound) I had some problems with vortex component, but support was adequate. I did ~500 km on these wheels, can't say something bad now.

How do you find the stopping power on those Ashima rotors? I'm looking for lighter weight 6-bolt options to swap out for my XT's and have been thinking about these very rotors.

I'm using Acros XC Race carbon 29". 1.5 years, ~15 XCM races. Very good quality! ;)
Inernal rim width is ~25.5mm, so it is relatively wide. Weight is 1270g claimed for non-boost, ~1290 grams measured (by me), price is 1199 EUR for the wheelset. https://www.acros.de/en/products/wheels ... carbon-29/

There is an 'SLS' version as well, almost 100g lighter, +200 EUR. https://www.acros.de/en/xc-race-carbon-sls/
