I was reading about DUB yesterday. The release said it's based on a 30mm ID of the bearing. Given the spindle is 28.99mm that means there is a sleeve between the bearing and the spindle. It also means that the sleeve could be removed from a DUB cup and installed into any 30mm ID bearing (eg. the stock bearing on a Scalpel-Si or F-Si - PF30a83).
I've made a diagram for install a DUB Boost crankset into a PF30a83 frame. It requires leaving the stock non-drive side cup in place and just using the DUB sleeve to reduce the ID to 28.99mm.
This is theoretical. I haven't tested it. Note
-it ends up with a 54.5mm chainline (not 55mm)
-crankset sits asymetrically in the frame (2.5mm towards the drive side)
Items required to purchase
-DUB boost crankset (could be a quarq)
-DUB bottom bracket for PF30 shell
-DUB spacer kit (to obtain 2mm spacer)
SRAM / QUARQ DUB crankset in PF30a83 (Scalpel-Si / F-Si)
