Just registered and been reading what I can find on bmx bike components. I wonder if anyone has any information on bmx/MTB helmets that are full face? I bought my daughter a motorcycle one that weights 2.8lbs. Mostly for price and it fit. I wasn't sure she would take to the sport but she has and now figuring out weight cuts to improve her performance. Anyone has recommendations for a small sixe full face protective helmet that is the lightest available?

The 100% full carbon DH ones were pretty light from memory

Fox proframe are around 750 grams. Can't say I was impressed with the fit though.

For something a bit more robust the bluegrass brave is a good weight.

The Bell Super 3R is surprisingly light and the chin bar is removable for the non-gnar days. My 9-year-old loves his. It's also available for ~50% of the Fox sometimes...Jenson recently had them @ $120.
