Yepp I just received the official newsletter from Shimano for the new XTR 12 speed.

Is then this only a 1x12 and no more 2x??

According to bikerumor's article, the 2x is only available with the smaller range 11s cassette 10-45. So no 2x12.

That’s wrong. 1x11 10-45 is enduro specific.
2x12 and you should use RDM9120

So neither 2x nor 3x with XTR anymore?

Unless I’ve read it wrong my current gen XTR hubs are trash if I want to use 12 speed, awesome!

Wonder when will we see the hubs being ported over to other groupsets such as the DA groupset for road.
Not so much for the gearing but much more so for the silent and low drag freehub design.

The Scylence feature is already in the Shimano Dura Ace C40 and C60 wheels.

And which particular models are those ?
I just scanned through all the disc brake models and those with through axles. Didn't see a mention on that though.

Scylence was introduced for those wheels but cancelled before wheels became available.
