That is truely an interesting concept, look forward to seeing development of this
I guess there's worse hobbies than making a bike light? Right?

Looks way cool, but probably not everyone will like only a single position over steerer tube and pull-through closed bar clamp.

Two concerns for me (well plus two minor ones)
1/ Strength concern for an MTB versus a fuller coverage clamp area
2/ Whether the 'top cap' tag is stiff enough to adequately preload bearings

Minor issues
1/ Compatibility of top cap 'tang' with bungs for carbon steerer forks
2/ Restrictive nature of having to have the stem at the same height, no scope for adjustment by moving spacers.

Looks nice though, weight is good compared to my 91g (Kalloy Uno stem with Ti bolt kit - 85g and MT Zoom top cap - 6g) all be it for a lot more I guess than the £35 that cost me!
