Hey--long time no Weight Weenies!

Anyway after a severe neck injury that kept me from really riding (although I did a lot of pathetic 10- to 15-mile rides) I'm back.

Was wondering if anyone, anywhere, makes an ultralight 26" rim these days.

I was debating whether to admit why I need a 26" rim...but here goes: I'm going to be stuck on a recumbent for at least this season. Not something that I am particularly pleased about, but I decided to embrace the weirdness and build the lightest 'bent I can.

Hopefully next season I'll be back on my beautiful 13 lb English.

Best thing is to look around and see what is coming up NOS, I picked up some 325g Alpines not long ago for just under half price.

Disc or rim braked, the Alpine is disc.

Alpine for £18 !
