Nice. Any more information on that?
Mars did you order the 50MM? I was going to suggest it. In terms of weight you're probably better off getting the 50MM bc it weighs the same as the 35MM. I'm thinking about putting one on my Epic for the off season.

Yeah, I got the 50 mm version. It's really great. I can't imagine taking it off anytime soon.
FYI Speci doesn't weigh the XCP with cable, housing, and remote as KS does. The Speci with that weighs 533 to KS' 535. KS is cheaper and 2x the travel. I have the 50mm XCP and it's great, but if twice the travel and zero weight penalty might as well use the KS.

To be fair I've not heard of any dropper post that has proven to be 100% reliable, I've had a reverb that kept sticking, a KS that won't drop and a Fox that did whatever it liked at random. I'm sorely tempted to bin the current KS I have and just run a normal post, about 75% of the time that's all I really need if I'm honest

My Specialized XCP 50 mm has been just fine so far.
Haven't heard many complaints about the 272 Integra so not too worried. The XCP is great, but if they're the same weight why not have more drop?

No local shops sell KS droppers here as far as I now. That was my main reason for getting the XCP. I also like the shape of the XCP.
XCP is not a bad post. I still think about cancelling the KS. The one thing I like slightly better is the cable setup on the KS being very, very, very marginally easier to connect to the post head, but apparently the housing length is a bit finnicky. The XCP is great and I question the need for more than 50mm of drop on an XC bike, but I guess there is always the ability to try longer and go back to it if need be. The SRL lever is really well designed though.
Anyone ever use I-links or powercordz with an internally routed dropper? Seems like the ideal application for both.

The cable for the carbon KS posts is pretty much a Powercordz which is great in theory but awful in practice given how the cables are clamped in place and how fragile the Powercordz are. Since the cables are short the weight advantage is minimal so I stuck with a KCNC teflon coated jobbie after snapping the original inner. The outer for the carbon KS is a good place to lose weight on any cable operated post. Same as Tune Plastic Stuff or the cheaper alternative produced by Quaxar ("Ultralight")
