That said, I have some experience with the MRP chainguide on Giant Anthems. It often takes a little bit of filing to get things 100% aligned, but once it's properly set-up, it seems to do it's job well. The edges of the guide are smoothed and soft angles, so even if you do get a bit of rub at one end of the cassette, it's not going to result in excessive watts lost, chain wear or noise.
Ah, ok. Good to know thanks for that. Cheers!

The MRP chainguide comes with every epic. Also with mine. So it's stock :). so far i've never had problems with or without the chainguide on my epic.

It seems I may have missed out. My Epic didn't comed with one. :noidea: Thanks for the heads up though!

I’m trying to lose some weight on my Epic 8. Has anybody been able to order or swap out the fork linkage to the S-Works carbon one? The manual lists a different part number but I haven’t seen it online. Curious if you could get a shop to special order it.

I noticed yesterday that Specialized updated their website and have new Epic World Cups (Pro and Expert) without the brain in the SID SL fork. It now a remote lockout setup which is 200 grams lighter. Are they completely moving away from the brain technology?
