Hi all,
Pursuing my build.
I'm ordering a front fork. I noticed it's 110 mm wide. I think it's made for the new BOOST standard.
Can I use this fork on a standard frame as long as I order a 110 mm front hub ? Does it change something in the riding/ steering?
Thanks for your help.
Louis :)

The fork will work just fine with a non-boost frame.

You’ll need a boost hub or adapter to convert a non-boost hub to 110mm.

The wheel will be stiffer too if built with a Boost hub.

Assuming a 15x110 fork, the biggest drawback is that it is a little more effort to use a 12x100 wheel iin it if you ever had the desire (dyno hub, emergency spare, etc.). One of my conversion kits makes quick work of adapting a 12x100 wheel to a 15x100 fork but you’ll need additional spacers for the disc and hub to run the same wheel in a 15x110 fork.
