Hey intersting feedback you give in this thread.
Was looking for an epic but it's sold out for now. Supercaliber was in the list so I might move to it.
I'm not fully aware of the new geo trend in mtb, would you give a you height and frame size you choose?

There is a size guide on the Trek site. I am 177 cm and chose a medium mostly because while I could technically ride a medium large I looked at the geometry chart and realized the medium matched almost exactly to the geo of my trail bike which fits me perfectly (SC 5010 first version). So when I switch bikes my positioning is nearly identical.

Allright, the guide tell me to take a ml frame, but as you do I compare it with my actual bike and the m size is closer.
As I'm 170cm with ~71cm saddle height and you are 177 riding a M I think I should go With a M.
There is some good value offer on second hand frame.
