Re: ENVE SES Race Day tires
This might be the pick of the bunch for 25mm hookless users now we can't use 28mm STRs. 200g saved over a pair of 30mm STRs too! The fair comparison is the TT TR though Except you're not supposed to run the 28 on 25IRW, this was my point. Although still 80g a pair lighter than the 28TTTR! Funny thi...

Re: 2024 Pro thread
Zabel mentioned in his latest podcast episode that Israel premiertech will ride the ostro gravel at paris roubaix. No mentioning of reasons. I wonder if they're planning to use really wide tires. Or ist the normal ostro just too stiff? The old Ostro barely fit 30mm WAM tires and the new one only of...

ENVE SES Race Day tires
ENVE dropped some race-only tires with crazy weights… and if the chart is to be believed, it should be close to the GP5K TT TR in Crr.

Re: Hookless and updated ISO Standards - Thomas De Gendt Crash
So now we're left to speculate if the hooked rim failed first or if Jonas rode a flat until the rim failed. Could it be that maaaaaybe wheels are getting too light for real-world racing despite passing ISO tests with 90deg impacts from blunt anvils?

Hutchinson also made the Zipp Tangente Speed, which scored a little better than the old non-11Storm Galactik TL.

Re: 2024 product release rumors
Castelli did the same with its Paris gear. They tell you there’s a 10ct minimum and to contact them via e-mail, then they don’t answer at all.

Re: 2024 Pro thread
I think he is massively underrated, but he's not one of the riders I would compare to WVA or MvdP in terms of spring classics campaigns. He's yet to win one of the 5 monuments. Pogacar is the most prolific winner of monuments in quite some time, having won 5 of the last 13...and he doesn't even rac...

Re: 2024 Pro thread
Does anybody else feel like Mads Pedersen doesn't get the respect and rating he deserves? He rarely gets mentioned as a top contender, but delivers a lot and at a super high level. I feel he should be mentioned more often in the same breath as Wout and Mathieu. I think he is massively underrated, b...

Re: Time road pedals - new design coming?
I'm really hoping they make a power metre with Quarq. Time pedals could be excellent with a bit more refining (bearings mainly although the cover on my xpro split somehow and I've never dropped the bike). And Quarq make excellent power metres, my old dzero is far better than anything avaiable for S...

Re: Massive fork trail variation between popular race bikes
I doubt that a small trail difference can make such a big effect. Supersix trail in size 56 is 58, similar to Emonda. Tarmac has 55. Domane SLR has 61, Domane RSL - racing version of Trek's endurance bike has 51! Much lower than racing bikes. I guess longer wheelbase and bigger BB drop still makes ...

Re: When did you last crash?
the side of the road on which they must commonly ride. This is the main contributing factor. In RHT regions like Europe, the US, China, etc. right-hand corners on descents 1) have a smaller radius, 2) are more likely to be covered in debris from slides, 3) force you into the oncoming lane if you sc...

Re: 2024 Pro thread
Kung came down into his line, WVAs body went right a little and when he tried to get the bike back underneath him, the front tire washed out on a wet sea, between gutter and road. Just bad luck. Kung did nothing of the sort. Wout intentionally popped out of the gutter to get around Kung, he even sa...

The GoPro footage from DeGent's crash!? Anyone see that anywhere??

GoPros can record 60-80min worth of footage. It wasn’t on at the time.
