Btw, Ax did a frameset for a small brand several years ago. That was priced 8500 Euro. It was way more beefy than Vial EVO.
Sadly i don't remember what this brand was.
Do you mean the Engage Clade E11? The frameset (including seatpost) was sold for about 1000 € in the end.

Cables are semi-integrated and wheels by DT Swiss.
Maybe the pictures motivate someone else to comment.

Re: New Giant TCR Advanced announced

Looks great, if it was my bike I'd redo the cables though. How would you change it please? I struggled a bit to get something I was happy with, but in the end thought I'd done it about as well as possible with the frame's routing options. I was holding back to comment to not bring up the idea of re...

Re: OPEN releases road bike

Yeah the 160 rear rotor is a weird way to go. On the front is ok I suppose but in rear not really. Most popular combination even in Pro peloton is 160 front and 140 rear. Smaller rear rotor limits the chance of locking the wheel and is basically a safer option in my opinion. I don't have any concer...

Re: New Giant TCR Advanced announced

Sorry if this too far off topic, but I bought the following "computer mount" for my Contact SLR Integrated Bar/Stem ... and I can't for the life of me figure out how to mount a computer (Garmin) to it? I can see it's also a Di2 junction box mount, so thought it might just be wrongly named, but that...

Re: Campagnolo Super record pulley cage weight.

Do you know the weight of the Pulley cage of the Campy SR? For the cage, one has to distinguish between the short and medium cage. Amazon lists a weight of nearly 100 gram for medium, possibly including the packaging: www.amazon.de/Kettenk%C3%A4fig-f-Schaltwerk-Record-RD-SR002M-11-fach/dp/B07BPVD72...

sound = wasting energy in physics
With the restriction that the low sound emission is not due to high damping.
I also remember an article that a louder chain sometimes has a better efficiency than one that is lubricated so that it is minimally loud.

Re: Fizik Manganese Corrosion Spots

Fizik for me always hammock on the support frame after about 5000k (4 months usage for me) so I'm amazed you get a chance to see wear points before the saddle needs to be binned. I am quite lightweight (62 kg) and have no problems with the durability at all. Even the upper leather looks like new - ...

Re: Fizik Manganese Corrosion Spots

Use some Scotch Brite or steel wool to gently buff them off then some clear coat to help keep them at bay. They’ll come back eventually but the clear coat will really slow their progress. They are likely occurring right there from sweat dripping on to them so maybe get in the habit of wiping them d...

Fizik Manganese Corrosion Spots

Dearest weight weenies, suffer the saddle rails of someone else under these spots in the attached image? It's a Fizik Antares with manganese alloy rails. Is there a known antidote? Im less concerned about the integrity of the saddle, but due to the current amount of free time, I can go bananas about...

Elite Vico Carbon is slightly heavier, 23 gram, but made in italy and widely available for less than 15 euros.
