Very sweet! Last are really doing something special with their carbon fibre frames. What's the component spec?

Depressed by the lack of taste on the GCN app! Voting the SL7 and Aeroad as more desirable than a Sturdy 🙈🤯
Very much so, instantly regretted downloading the app and kind oif lost faith in humanity at the same time.

That is normal for eagle with no tension on the chain.
Yeah, and when you apply tensinon and force the chain into place, you can snap a teeth of the 50t alu cog. Ah, the wonderful Eagle engineering...

Just stop bothering with carbon discs. It's been proven a failure on more than one occasion.

Re: 2018 Specialized Epic FSR

The short fork rake might be a mistake. I remember the old Bontragers with short rake Rockshox forks. Any bump or pebble woulds stop the front wheel. Interesting that they have gone with a lower forks offset 41mm whilst other manufactuer have gone the way of increasing fork offset when slackening h...

Re: Converting Scott Scale from 2 x11 to 1 x 11

:noidea: Ive got XTR 1x11 with a 36 CarbonTi narrow wide direct mount ring, it drops all the time without the clutch. But the OP can find what works for him Have you checked if your CarbonTi chainring has the full narrow/wide pattern on the inside of the chainring? You can read about my issues with...

Re: My first MTB weight weenie Build help (Yeti SB5)

Honestly, you've got an ace set-up there, and every gram saved will probably cost some performance. If it was my bike, here is what I would change: - Saddle to a Tune Speedneedle. However, saddle fit is highly individual, so might not suit you. Still, there are many lightweight saddle options which ...

Re: A look at the trends in MTBing over the last 10 years and how they've affected the weight

I know this is WW, but lighter isn't always better. My 140mm travel 26er is so much more fun to ride when it's steep and rough than the hardtails. Granted on easy paths and roads its a pig haha. What bike are you rocking? I'm also on a 140 mm 26", in my case an Ibis Mojo SL. I've got a 2007 or...

Re: RS-1 fork

I don't doubt you, I'm just saying that any strengths this fork might have is negated many times over by such unpredictable behaviour. I must assume that the only reason Rock Shox is still selling this fork is that they invested a lot of money in the tooling to make it, and now desperately want to r...

Re: RS-1 fork

While descending they can occasionally twist out of line, like when they hit a rock on an off camber (lets say camber to the left). This causes you to correct the line by turning the bars to the right but after the obstacle, the twist corrects its self and this leave the forks pointing too far in t...
