Re: Open mold wide profile carbon wheels
im 69kg. theyre 1790g for the pair, so that puts the rims over 500g each! 20/24. No sure what the issue is. Either my rear triangle is flexing, albeit I have one of those nashbar carbon frames which is a fair stiff bike. Or, my spoke tension was properly tensioned. btw, the reason i know theyre flex...

Re: Anybody use short crank arms (165mm)?
ive been using them for three months. down from 170. im 5'8 with a 31" inseam. I like how much smoother my cadence is. I don't really feel anymore flexible on the bike, or any less strain on my knee though. My cadence has gone up with acceleration. I can't say I like the feel accelerating or wh...

Re: Open mold wide profile carbon wheels
Got some 60x25s from usu wheels aka superteam. Im getting a lot of flex in my rims when i apply some good torque out of the saddle. I had them built with dt30s and sapim. Theyre true, so i assume its the flexing in the carbon. Has anyone else noticed this with their chinese rims?

I got those wheels from another supplier. Same stats though. Im noticing flex in my rims when i get out of my saddle to climb. Because of that, ive had to pull my brake pads out. Let me know if you notice the same thing.

Re: Hongfu FM-066/Chinese open mould frame thread
im wanting to order a 066 frame from workswell. to clarify, I tell them I plan to use a bb30 crankset, but ask they leave their bottom bracket off?
do they make the frames differently for compatible cranksets, or do they just merely change out the bottom bracket?

Re: really wide shoes?
I've tried shimano and bonts in their wide sizes. The sidi megas were the only thing that has really fit. I wear a 4e. PS. I only use a heel insert, And leave the forefoot bare. because it gives me and extra couple of millimeters room in the forefoot. if I used a true insert, I might not have simila...

Re: Open mold wide profile carbon wheels
Usu is quoting me 200 dollars cheaper than farsports for dt350s/sapim and 60x25 rims. 550 vs 750. I wonder if there dt350 hubs are real. Is there Any way to check their authencity when i get them? Also, the claimed weight of usu wheels come in at 80g heavier. 1790 vs 1710g.

Re: Hongfu FM-066/Chinese open mould frame thread
There's no way to really prove these companies or using t1000 or even t800, right? Im looking at a sl frame myself. Dengfu is quoting me 550 plus 75 shipping, workswell bikes is 450 with free shipping on aliexpress. Sobatobikes on there is advertising a t900 sl frame, but when i look on the toray we...

Lightest chain rings?
I have three choices that are used. Stronglight, sworks, and sram red. Its going on a sram red exogram crankset. The sworks are only twenty bucks, the other two are fifty. I cant find any weights on sworks. Btw, id rather not comprise a ring that will wear quick if its only saving me 10-20g.

Re: Hongfu FM-066/Chinese open mould frame thread
So, miracle bikes claims they make their superlight from t1000 for 550. Is that even possible? Otherwise, im leaning towards towards the 450 superlight frame on aliexpress. Can anyone comment as to whether their quality less than going to dengfu or hongfu?
