Campag SR chainrings availability

Hi, I like the idea of a crank based power meter which aesthetically works with campagnolo, hence the only option would be the SRM. Being able to swap the chainrings from a standard to compact would be great for training abroad (see extract below) The new version of the SRM Campagnolo Record Ultra T...

Re: Colnago C60 v Cervelo R3 SL

I have a cervelo R3SL with SR and mavic kysrium sl and a colnago EPQ with SR and shamal wheel both with compact cranks. The cervelo is in the midi-Pyrenees as my climbing bike and I keep the colnago in the UK where I live. You will not find a better climbing bike than the R3SL unless you opt for a 6...

Carbon paste on plastic shim?

Hi folks,

I have a 2009 Cervelo R3 with annoying 32.4 mm seat post. I have swapped to a deda (31.6 mm) and USE plastic shim. Problem is seat post is slipping. Will carbon paste (FSA) still work with a plastic shim?

Cheers

Re: Tub troubles

@bm0p700f.

Just to clarify do you mount the tub dry, and it is the chemical reaction from the layers of glue that bonds the wheel and tub. Never tried it this way but a lot cleaner.

Re: Shiny Bikes - think twice

My experience of shiny bikes has been positive. Purchased colnago EPQ , 2 super record groupsets, shamal wherls and various bars/saddle and tubs. Their service may not be as quick as Wiggle, but the cheap prices sure make up for the delay. To be fair 1st class usually means 3 days delivery time, whi...

Re: Canyon CF SLX and campagnolo crankset compatibility?

Just received this from canyon: "We recommend using a small amount of Loctite on the press fit bb cups when installing them into the frame. Our technicians in Germany use a similar product for original installation." Obviously with cost of the frame and anniversary groupset alone will be a...

Canyon CF SLX and campagnolo crankset compatibility?

Hi, just noticed the canyon CF SLX 80 Superlight with 80th anniversary groupset and obermeyer wheels. I would like to purchase the frame separately but still put the anniversary groupset on the frame. Is there a problem regarding pressfit bottom brackets and campagnolo crankset ie. creaking and camp...

Re: Corima Viva MCC S or LW Gipfelsturm

Last sentence means - I like the look of the low spoke count but the low spoke count is what concerns me with durability. Thank you - You provided the answer I was looking for. I just placed my order with Starbike so I will soon find out for myself. I'll update this after I receive the wheels. Doub...

Beware bora clinchers!!!!!

Re: Condor Super Acciaio - Anyone taken one for a spin?

Loving the enigma elite, but with a 55 cm top tube the head tube is only 12.5 cm!! Surely everybody will need a number of spacers, which would ruin the aesthetics. Why didn't they match it with a 14 cm head tube.

Dedacciai titanium K-19 experiences?

Hi, thinking of buying the above frameset for a winter/wet weather build. Already have a used 10 sp chorus/record groupset and kysrium sl wheels. Really like the look of the frame, but have no experience of titanium. Seen this review on bikeradar, wondering if real life experiences are similar. m Ma...
