Dropped stays don't help with airflow over the rear wheel. This bike is all about reducing the drag from the moving wheels.

Re: Kickr Bike
If you mean 15-20 minutes to cycle out of town yes it does and that is really reasonable. If you mean 15-20miles I can only imagine you are riding from the city centre to Airdrie to leave.

Re: Decent wheels for commuting and winter training (UK)
One observation. I think the bike started feeling uncomfortable when a. I changed wheels (from the old R5 to the newer R5 LG, they are wider rims) and in parallel I lost weight. Tyre is 23mm. Is it perhaps an easier problem to fix? I.e I am running a pressure that it is too high?!? 100PSI for 68kg....

Re: 2019 PRO thread
very odd choice though considering they can get their bikes at the weight limit with Shimano wheels.. with more width and better aerodynamics :noidea: There was chat about Sky using software to simulate stages to inform equipment choice re aero vs weight, using variables like time in bunch, time in...

Re: 2019 PRO thread
BTW is there at Dirty Kanza any doping control ?? I mean at least for the top 5 after the race? Nope But Wada could show up for an out of competition test on pros. If any of the riders have a US license USADA could just turn up and do a random dope test, you don't have to be a pro to be tested.
