Anyone from Cyprus or ridden there? I am going to be there for a week end of Nov (perhaps with MTB if I can sneak it in) and again at the end of March with my road bike for proper milage. Going to be in Paphos if that means anything to anyone (it doesn't to me!)

dick

I am greek and have been to cyprus once. it's a great place and if yo go at the right time of the year the weather is awesome. paphos is a great place as well

as another poster said there is varied terrain depending on what you're after

most greeks aren't that athletic beyond soccer and backgammon so be prepared for some strange looks in your bike gear

ride near the beaches as the women are stunning

Big Fellow..... I respect you and all, but don't call me Dick, or I will hunt you down with dogs

I was thinking of some Mountain Biking in November and them road mile munching in March, so it sounds ideal.

I am off to Cyprus again (mtbing) but saw this thread when doing a search. It made me laugh and reminded me of our departed friend. So I revived it.

I am looking for ANY cycling contacts in the Paphos area at all, to show me the local ropes. I also need to know a good bar where I will be able to catch the TdF! Thanks :D
