Beautiful work from a great custom builder: KISH FABRICATION.
(The website is being redone; therefore still in progress.)

Thanks.
It's a big frame: measures 22.25" (565mm) virtual seat tube c-c.
The frame weighs 1590g.
3/2.5 ti, straight gauge.

Congratulations! That is very little weight for a Ti frame in that size.

As per usual a wonderful frame from a great builder.
I'm not too fond of the black chainrings though (but thats a matter of personal taste)
The weight is splendid for a 22 incher (is that the size? )

thanks for the pics !

Thanks Adri et al.
Yes, it a bit larger than 22".

I actually like the crankset with the black team rings, but I think I would like something lighter before even using it (so I can sell it new).
I had a tune Bigfoot = too skinny/flexy for me.
Forget Extralite E-Bones W.
Cook Brothers "E" are really hard to find.
So maybe I'll just get the XTR or FSA K-Force (but I don't want carbon, really) and be done with it.

The fork (Marathon SL) and this crankset are not the lightest, but they're sturdy...and I see no way to really get the weight down that much, not at my size, unless I were to spend too much money.

And yet, to build such a beautiful frame up heavy seems a shame. :?

Wow, titanium rules.

What crankset is that, a DEUS or an Evolve ? If its a DEUS (with integrated bb) and you wanna sell it then give me a shout.

I recently bought a TI hardtail, I looked at KISH but found him to be too expensive. Have read only the best reviews about his stuff.

I wouldn't know whether to ride it or hang it on the wall as a piece of art.

Hi cadence,

this is a VERY good welding work!
What price is that bike, since the Website only tells that they allways built custom bikes. You can pm the price if you don't want to write it in the thread.

But one question: Have you already checked Rewel? It's also an Italian company in Bozen. I only know that they would be a bit heavier.

Cheers
Taaboo

@ nikh: Thanks. Did you end up selling or keeping your PWIF? That was a beautiful frame too!

@ 20_bandh: The crankset is a Deus XC. I like the design, the adjustability, the quality...I just don't like the weight so much. So, if I find something as good that is lighter, I'll sell it unused and let you know first. Or I may come to my senses and just keep it....

Regarding the cost of Kish (less than most custom or top shelf ti frames), when I think of the quality and ammortize the expense over my lifetime, it works out to be pretty good, about 15 cents a day just for me...and even less for my kids and their kids and their kids.... :)

@ Taaboo: the cost now I think is $2100, the website is not finished yet. When I ordered they cost less, but titanium increased this year. PM me if you have other questions.

I do know Rewel, and Nevi too, and I like them, their frames look nice, but I am living in Los Angeles now so Kish is local. I wanted to know the person making the frame, if possible, and he is a really great person as well as a talented builder. 8)

Race Face cranks are great. if you read some of my other posts then you will know that I am not a true "hardcore" weight weenie. I like to keep the weight down without sacrificing rideability and durability.
I wouldn´t consider your race face DEUS to be "heavy". Race Face and Syncros are my favourite component manufacturers, I have used and abused their stuff for years without ever having problems with them. Sure, their stuff isnt the lightest but it is reliable and durable.
You,like me, bought yourself a Titanium frame because you wanted it to last you a lifetime not because it is the lightest frame building material out there (carbon).
If I were you I would keep the Race Face cranks, they wont disappoint you like some "lighter" cranksets out there, and they complement your frame very well.
