I'd rock the shit out of one of your white super 9's!

Is the super six a full carbon frame, lugged or monocoque? How stiff is it?

2008 marks the year that we've developed a full-carbon solution to rival their Cannondale aluminum addiction. High modulus, unidirectional, tip to tail for performance that's already pro-tour, podium proven. The full monocoque front triangle is co-molded to the rear triangle by using our one-step Clean Molding process in Bedford, PA.

best CAAD color was clear coated brushed aluminum. I wish they made a mirror-polish aluminum finish.

agreed

Ok........ busy busy busy. Landed (finally) from the Cannondale trip and had a "layover" at home and am sitting the airport waiting on my flight to head to Cervelo.

Supersix HighMod is the new frame next year and is a bad-ma'am-a-jamma'. Under 900~ish for the frame depending on paint for a 54cm. No lugs like the current Supers (check the pics). Paint looks great for next year!

The Slice will be Red and White! Much better than the current paint.

Further, the guy doing the road product management did a great job sourceing parts to put on the bikes and they will be some of the best looking stock bikes around (I think). He went went to some pretty extraordinary lengths to make the bikes look good. For example; the line a lot of red and white and the R-sys wheel with the neon green spoke nips would look terrible so................. he had Mavic custom make some R-sys wheels with red nips to match and they are only avaliable from Cannondale.

SISL is still around and still light and only avaliable in black next season

The ladies bikes also have great paint this year and they are making 2 highmod Synapses with 7900 and Red. Both are super light. The Synapse High Mod Red for ladies was just at or under 14 lbs in a 50cm. For what it's worth, the Synapse High Mod frames for men are being quoted at 1070 grams for a 54cm. Further, the Synapses look way better this year.

Lots of BB30............. in fact ................ everything but the CAAD 9 is BB30.

At any rate pics

it will but ONLY in the custom paint program for teams. So if your team is sponsored by a shop that works with Cannondale they may be able to to a team order and get you guys custom paint and a CAAD9 with BB30.

WHat is with companies OEM specing the R-SYS???

Cannondale are clearly dropping the SI carbon as well, in favour of the larger volume FSA BB30 cranks (who made the SI carbon anyway)

Any word on the six13 and system6 frames? Is this years super6 continueing as a second top end model?

Whoa! Big jump from a CAAD9 to a Supersix in 09 then!

But then, as with last year, I will be expecting a massive price drop in the current model (non-hi mod) SuperSix to bring it down to a roughly System6 price point i guess, with corresponding equipment levels...

Without seeing reviews of how differently the new Supersix rides, it might be hard to justify the premium?

The hubs and rims also changed to black instead of silver on the stock R-SYS.

System6 AND six13 gone?!?!

No wonder my girl friend is having so much trouble getting a yellow fem six13 (ordered in may, schedualled to be made in August we have now found out). WOnder what the chances are of them killing the production line before starting her bike

I'm glad I have my system6, I just love hitting the shorter hills hard out of the saddle 8)
