frame: Canyon Ultimate Pro size 52
gruppo: Campagnolo Record with Chorus UT
cables: Flying Snake
bars: Deda Newton Shallow
stem: Syntace F119
seatpost: Ritchey WCS Carbon
saddle: Selle San Marco Concor Light
pedals: Keywin Titanium
wheels: Bontrager Race X Lite (training: Marchisio Alisea)
tubs: Veloflex Carbon (Veloflex Black)

The bike as listed weight 6816 gramms.

7253 gramms with training wheels.

I was supposed to install FRM CL2 but there has been some troubles with the back break as the frame's arc (donno how to call it correctly) is very close to the rear wheel.
Same goes to an M2racer seatpost clamp that didn't fit the frame.

The project began last winter when I was starting to think at what frame to buy and as I was looking for a racing frameset my 2 choices were between 07 Canyon or a full alloy custom frame.
Then the new 08 Canyon appeared and I simply got in love.

Many thanks to 80nicola80 for his help on building my first (WW) bike and to his dad for teaching me many tips (like how to install tubs).

Very nice!

Is it just an optical illusion or is there something unusual about the rear triangle? I can't put my finger on what it is exactly I'm seeing.

long stem, shallow Deda handlebar, Record shifters.

Nicest combo. Really nice bike.

Nice work. How do you find the Fizik tape? I couldn't believe how much nicer it was than what I had before. So thin.

After the years showing mine on MSN, you finally got one for yourself Michele
Love the choice of components, enjoy your Canyon!
I really did like to ride that frame model in the near future, to compare it with the older.

Nice bike!

Where did you get a no-logo Ritchey Wcs seatpost?

Really nice frame and build components, i would like to see it also with custom white stickers on the bondy wheels that will finish this masterpiece!

At last! Decent photos of an 08 Canyon.

Love it. Finally, a fork that matches the headtube.

Fitnerd: I think what you are seeing is the contrast between the massive front-end and the thin seat-stays.

I think that's part of it. Also, it looks like the chain stays slope down to the BB a bit more than I've seen before. Anyway, it's one helluva nice ride!
