On-one Lurcher 29er Build

Thanks for this look at your build, looks great. Although a road bike guy I also have an interest in getting a 29er but don't really know anything about MTB.

For a beginner like me? $1675 (export price) seems OK.

looks decent that nice beginner bike go for it!

7x9 bracket arrived from Germany today, so could finally fit the saddle.... shame its not gold like the 7mm one but Crank bros dont seem to sell them...hey ho...black still looks ok i think

Rims still not arrived...got a call from the builder saying the hubs are ready to go, hopefully have them finished next week provided the rims do eventually turn up!

cables ran for the shifters and remote, could do with shortening the front brake cable...

its an On-one 29er Race, fairly similar frames a few hundred grams lighter (unpainted) and has internal cable routing.

Carbon rims from Light-Bicycle arrived today....so glad i went for these over the cobalts (thanks to njee for pointing me to that, appreciated!) they are absolutely spot on. rigid and flawless! over the moon with them!





Now to pick up the King hubs and get these badboys built!

weight saving tip: take the cable guide out that is in the steerer of the fork. Then rotate the black part on the crown of the fork until there is enough clearance to run the housing out in front of the fork. It can be a stiff bugger to move on some forks. I've done this with my 2 bikes with CTD. Also allows for shorter housing/cable.
