Exactly. It was higher as he didn't get into the wind until later.

I'm sure he wants a stage, but I think he'll be pretty happy with that result (and all the points he picked up) given it was a real fast finish and he still beat Der Gorilla.

Re: Ryder's shades - that's awesome, terrible and incredibly wierd all wrapped up in one.

Is there evidence of him wearing those throughout the stage or just for that photo?

Did anyone else read about the fine to Chavanel?
It seems UCI fined him of 100 swiss franc for chewing in a way that damaged the image of cycling. :mrgreen:
