Here is my 2011 Cronus. Currently at 6640g and would like to get it close to 6000. Might be a stretch given the frame/fork, but I'm open for suggestions.

Two Austin locals had a hand in the rear end: Crumpton repair on a seatstay and an old member and close friend, IUbike, did the custom paint.

Dropped about 77g by switching from a older Toupe to a Chinese carbon "toupe". Feels more substantial than I expected. Haven't ridden yet, but for $50 I'm willing to give it a chance.

Now at 6560g.

Is that the Hylix Touple?

I guess it's a Hylix Touple, or so eBay says. :noidea:

To me it's a $50, 90g Chinese knock-off of the Toupe that has very pleasantly exceeded my expectations. I've put just under 1000 miles on it with no issues with either the ride quality or structural integrity. Curious how much longer until I change my tune.

LOVE my Cronus, hard to believe how light it was stock. I had 303s for a while then went back to the stock wheels, kind of want to switch back.

Nicely done!
