You're assuming the reason he's bought what he's bought is to look pro. He may just want the best performing bike he can get, and I don't think anyone who posts here is in a position to give him a hard time for that. The only thing you could say for sure he's bought for the look are the bibs and helmet.

The bottle's definitely wierd, but leg shaving does nothing except gain you acceptance from people who think you should shave your legs to be accepted into the clan of roadie.

I wonder where he got the shorts.. maybe consignment place or craigslist. I have one of those kits that were given to me lol. I used to be buddies with the infamous Mike Ball of Rock Racing and got a free bright green kit thru a mutual friend of his who still keeps in touch.

I actually put it on once to go out solo.. look one look and said..nah. That with the matching jersey is really really loud. Maybe for a halloween cross race or something one day.

My wife has a pure white one that she refuses to wear even.. maybe a tandem Halloween cross race lol

Hey TP that's wicked...what camera is that?
I have an 808HD camera which is a tiny thing I used to put on my R.C planes to capture full HD when I used to fly, so I was thinking of trying a similar thing.
The 808 I have is about the size match box.

Edit : I just saw the end of the video, Contour - nice!

oh thanks!

yea i was involved in a bunch sprint crash during a RR, probably a month or so ago. I was pretty unscathed through that incident, but had to take 3-4 days off to replace my bike frame.

I've been racing a little since then, but still training decently. Moreso other priorities at the moment, but thanks for the kind words!
