Marc Madiot seemed furious, but dunno what he was talking about as i dont speak/understand french. can someone tell what he is saying? at least the gist of his rant? thanks!

Basically: Madiot -"the president of the jury is a /$&*((*&%%/$..$"/*)(*)(% and should either be fired on the spot, or fined (we the riders and teams get fines when we're at fault, so he sould be heavily fined). No fault to the organisers, it's the president of the jury that's an &%$..$"/$U*(* and shouldn't have changed decisions when they decided to put the finish at 3 km."

Louis :)

That's all I could make out! I'm sure I have missed a lot though, so someone with better french can correct me!

He's angry with the president of the race jury, who so happens to be Spanish, about moving the finish line back and forth. "The president didn't do his job. When we make a mistake we get a fine. Well, he should get a huge fine" and continues to add some racial slur about a Spaniard calling the shots on a French race.

I'd like to see some follow-up on the decision-making that led to the bouncing finish line. That obviously represented extremely poor judgement, one of those things where recommended procedure is documented since it's not that extraordinary that a finish line becomes blocked as a race is approaching. For example, could the group have been stopped then re-started?

Orica-Green Edge was fined a nominal 1500 Euros. They probably spent more on fuel for the bus this week. But scapegoating them for the decisions which followed isn't solving the problem.

That was an AMAZING finish! That's the best bike race I have watched in a long time. Thank goodness that dog didn't cause any carnage with 3 to go.

Now that Radioshack Leopard Trek has won the stage, this podium girl's time has come

Indeed: Radioshack should send the dog a treat.

Not to mention shirtless guy who sprinted out onto the middle of the road 10 km earlier. Or the dog owner who almost got totaled but decided, wisely, the dog would need to fend for itself.

A bit surprised the leash-less dog wasn't spotted earlier. That's a super-no-brainer at a bike race.

Amazing finish, though.
